It was kind of a tough day for Lynne pain-wise, but she improved during the course of the day and is expected to be released on Wednesday. The medical people had to work our way off IV drugs to pills only in order to be able to release her. The Pet scan has been moved to Thursday at 1pm, since it has to be done as an outpatient procedure (???), and it would not have been possible to have her released in time for the originally scheduled PET scan. Thanks for the prayers, visits, and great support from family and friends.
Thanks so much for keeping us posted James amidst all of this. We are so grateful to know what is happening. Give her a big hug. We love you guys.. many are praying for you all.
ReplyDeleteLynne and James, I have been earnestly crying out to God for you since I talked with Sharon by phone last Sunday...that God would wrap His arms around you and hold you through these extremely difficult days. Others here in Spain are now praying for you as well. I love you!
ReplyDeletePsalm 46:1-3, 7 "God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble. Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with its turmoil...The Lord of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold."
Thank you for this blog as you are in my thoughts and prayers throughout the days and it's good to know how to be praying specifically. Please give give Lynn a hug for me and tell her I love her.
ReplyDeleteLynne, I hardly know where to start but I have been praying for you, your family, and the doctors directing your care and treatment. I pray for healing but also for peace, which truly passes all understanding. Thank you to your husband for this blog as a way to keep the many people who care for you updated. Sherrie (Putt) Kuiken

ReplyDeleteI heard about everything through Louann at church. I will pray with all my strength for wisdom for your doctors. I pray that you have pain-free days and peaceful nights. I pray that you will feel the love of all the people who care so much about you. And I will not stop praying for you until you have won this battle. Thinking of you, Laura Lunardi
